Once you're a teen heartthrob making eight-figures per movie, you have a tendency to draw some pretty excessive-profile leading ladies. Such is the case for Taylor Lautner, who's starring within the upcoming adaptation of the younger grownup novel "Incarceron."
Deadline has the news that Fox 2000 is in the technique of casting his romantic curiosity (a young girl named Claudia), and that their prime three picks are "Gossip Girl" actress and geek dream Blake Full of life, "Harry Potter" starlet Emma Watson and sure Oscar contender Jennifer Lawrence.
Those are three shocking and really completely different picks to star opposite Taylor. Claudia is the daughter of the warden of Incarceron, a brutal prison sealed off from the remainder of the world where Finn (Taylor) is trapped. She, simultaneously, is trapped in the Realm, which is modeled after the seventeenth century.
Find out which of the three actresses we expect is the only option after the jump, after which solid your vote for who you assume ought to co-star!
Full disclosure: I haven't read "Incarceron," however from what I've learn of the description, Blake Vigorous appears approach too old for the role (and too tall to be a plausible love interest for Taylor). She's a fantastic fashionista and can prove she can handle sci-fi/fantasy in "Green Lantern," but she simply doesn't have the correct look for a woman dwelling her life in a fake seventeenth century world.
Emma, alternatively, looks as if she can be the right match for the character, but she has an excessive amount of baggage with her from "Harry Potter" to star in a movie reverse a "Twilight" hottie. It sounds obnoxious to say, but when it had been the two of them starring as romantic interests in a film, that's all of the film would be about, though it might in all probability get tons of people to the theater. Also, is not Emma making an attempt to surrender appearing?
That leaves Jennifer Lawrence, who in my view looks as if the perfect decide for the role. She's proven she's great with dramatic roles in "The Burning Plain" and "Winter's Bone," is the fitting age and has the precise look to play opposite Taylor, and will prove her nerd cred within the upcoming "X-men: First Class" (she's playing Mystique). That, and she's not too nicely-identified to overshadow what is in the end Taylor's star vehicle. Plus, I believe the 2 of them would look lovable collectively.
